While on one of his trips, Pravin realized that happiness is more fun when shared. What followed next was a series of experiments and drafts on MS Word where Pravin tried writing down his experiences. Soon, those drafts took shape of a blog and it was just a matter of time that Lekhak Pravin turned into a web blogger with his own website, LekhakPravin.com, made solely with the vision of sharing experiences. Experiences, that Pravin has gathered throughout his journey as a travel writer and content creator.

Okay! Well here’s the interesting part. I look back at my life and wonder what have I done and kept doing.
From martial arts, to poetry writing; from riding to the southern tip of my state, to being lost in a jungle; from exploring the depths of SEO, to web and graphic designing; from rapping to writing songs for a band; from being the Student of the Year, to making a full length feature film.
My life has been filled with a lot of diverse experiences and each experience has taught me something or the other and shaped me into who I have become today. Here’s a sneak-peek into my works and achievements:

Well, one of my finest and most worked upon project so far, is this website itself. I have given it years of hard work and patience. All that you see and read on this site, is solely crafted, written and edited by me. This website is a testament to my sills as a content writer, web designer, graphic designer, SEO Analyst & an Indian Travel Blogger. I hold my website quite dear to me. It not just has blogs on my travels, but also my memories and experiences of travel.

The Beginning
Early in my life, in the hardest way, I faced a bitter truth. The truth of death!
When I was 13, I lost the person I looked up to as a kid, whenever I went through any problems or issues. I lost my father. Took me years to realize that life’s unpredictable. Why bringing this into my about info? Well, if I see the plant of travel standing tall in the backyard of my soul, the seed of it was planted by my father.
How? Let’s see.
My father, from the time our family became financially stable, made sure to make a trip every year. It was me, my mother and my father in the beginning, and after my younger brother was born, the four of us explored new places every year. But, I hardly remember the past experiences of the time when I was really young. But I do remember snippets of my old trips with my father. It was a yearly tradition (to be precise).
Traveling To Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Shimla & Mussoorie – 2009
Nothing remained same, ever since I returned from my 2009 journey. This trip changed a lot in me. I found a new love towards traveling, adventures, and mountains! It was a month long trip and I was not at all exhausted. Strangely, after returning back home, I felt homesick! Ironical, isn’t it?

My favourite moment from the trip was of the time when I was on a hilltop in Shillong and clouds were passing by. I was standing with my hands spread wide and a cloud just came and passed through me. It was a dreamy experience. I really loved that feeling. Felt like it just purified me.
My 2012 Trip was the last trip with my father.
And it took me 9 years! 9 long years to be able to stand on my feet, save money and then gather up the courage to leave. Courage?
Yes, courage! I was traveling after 9 years and that too solo.
Darjeeling – 2021
Ever since I left my home with a gush of adrenaline within me, I was emotional, excited and a bit scared. It was like homecoming for me. The entire journey, I was seeing visions of mountains, remembering the feeling of my past travels with dad, and just waiting for the train to reach its destination.
And once I was on the hills finally, I felt my cheeks widely stretched with a smile, and eyes, with a hint of tear. Ever since my Darjeeling Trip of 2021, my passion towards traveling the world has just sky-rocketed and all I want for me now is to earn enough to be able to travel wherever this heart wishes to take me.
